Akhtaboot TAG-Knowledge Host Their Second Successful Job Fair

Under the patronage of Jordan’s Ministry of Labor, H.E. Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman and CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization inaugurated the second Akhtaboot TAG-Knowledge job fair, the biggest career event for the year 2011 in Jordan.

For the 2nd year in a row, Akhtaboot – the career network and the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center (TAG-Knowledge), join forces to organize their ever popular job fair, which was held on the 26th and 27th of October at TAG-Knowledge headquarters, Queen Rania Street.

Akhtaboot Cares Initiative Signs a Cooperation Agreement with Ruwwad

Akhtaboot Cares Initiative – Akhtaboot’s CSR arm – has recently signed a cooperation agreement with Ruwwad, a community empowerment organization that helps disadvantaged areas in Jordan overcome marginalization through youth activism, civic engagement and education.

As part of the agreement, Ruwwad were provided with Akhtaboot’s Microsite solution, a revolutionary service, Powered by Akhtaboot, featuring their very own fully integrated and branded jobs section, allowing website visitors and job seekers to search and apply to jobs directly onto the careers section on Ruwwad’s website.

A career training session on CV writing and interview skills was also conducted today by Akhtaboot at Ruwwad’s headquarter, Jabal Al Natheef, as part of Ruwwad’s Enrichment Program, in which 35 young, college students will be equipped with the necessary skills to help them become more employable in today’s competitive job market.... Akhtaboot Cares Initiative at the Launch Event of the “Leader in Progress” Program of the German-Jordanian University

As part of Akhtaboot’s continuous efforts to help the less fortunate in pursuing their education and finding the right career path, Akhtaboot Cares Initiative (ACI) has recently participated in the Leader in Progress Scholarship Fund Initiative, a charity program organized by the students of the School of Management and Logistics Sciences of the German Jordanian University.

Akhtaboot Sponsors the “Ideal Ka’ek Cart” Project of Amman Baccalaureate School Personal Project Exhibition


On April 27, 2011,

Amman Baccalaureate School ABS held The Personal Project Exhibition which marked Grade 10 students’ celebration of their successful completion of their personal projects. This year’s exhibition was divided into the different areas of interaction, which forms the foundation of the personal project and that is “Community and Service”.

Akhtaboot and TAG Knowledge Host a Successful Job Fair with over 8,000 Visitors

Akhtaboot – the career network in partnership with Talal Abu Ghazaleh Knowledge Society hosted their first job fair at TAG Knowledge Center in Amman, Jordan to help connect employers with individuals looking for jobs. In total, the event drew 8,000 job seekers and 35 top regional and local employers looking to fill positions within their organizations.

The not-for-profit Job Fair was held as a CSR initiative of TAG-Knowledge and Akhtaboot Cares Initiative under the Patronage of His Excellency the Prime Minister of Jordan, Mr. Samir Al Rifai, deputized by HE Mr. Samir Murad Minister of Labor who said at the opening: “The Ministry always supports the various initiatives aimed at providing job opportunities for job seekers in accordance with the royal directives in granting a decent life and appropriate work environment for the Jordanians.”

The Minister stressed that the government believes that finding job opportunities for the unemployed, empowering the youth and the development of human resources are top priorities.... Read More ...

Akhtaboot Signs a Partnership Agreement with the German Jordanian University


Akhtaboot – the career network and the German Jordanian University (GJU) have signed a partnership agreement on the 16th of August, 2010 on GJU campus. The agreement focuses on strengthening the relationship between Akhtaboot and the German Jordanian University through providing GJU students with Akhtaboot career-related services as part of Akhtaboot Cares Initiative, Akhtaboot’s corporate social responsibility arm.

The agreement aims at enhancing and refining the skills of GJU students and graduates-to-be through equipping them with all the necessary career-related tools and knowledge to prepare them for any challenges that might face them when approaching the job market. Akhtaboot will give university students the chance to regularly stay in touch with professional career consultants who will be available through a dedicated office at the University campus to give advice to students on the best way of writing an attractive CV and successful interview strategies....
